I guarantee you that they will do everything to avoid this. The on-demand economy offers flexible delivery options for on-demand workers and makes life easier for customers. Ordering food smells good in your car and you might be tempted to take a bite. However, you should never open food containers or handle the customer`s order. The fleet agreement you signed says: Postmates knows this, but tries to focus your attention on arbitration. This includes: -All claims, demands, damages, lawsuits, losses, liabilities and causes of action arising directly or indirectly from your actions, failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement-All tax obligations and liabilities for the payment of all federal, state and/or local taxes-All costs related to your business, including but not limited to, the cost and liability of all applicable insurers Local, state and/or federal licenses, permits, taxes and assessments of any regulatory body, body or municipality.
